Plein Air Painting for Young Artists

Discover the joy of painting outdoors! In Plein Air Painting for Young Artists, campers will step outside the studio to explore how light, color, and atmosphere bring landscapes to life. Inspired by the natural world around them, students will learn to observe carefully and paint what they see—trees, flowers, skies, and more—just like famous artists who found beauty in the open air. Throughout the week, young painters will experiment with sketching, watercolor, and tempera techniques while practicing how to capture changing light, perspective, and texture.
