Mural Makers

Big ideas need big canvases! In Mural Makers, young artists will work together to dream, design, and create large-scale artworks that tell a story. Campers will learn how murals can express ideas, celebrate communities, and transform ordinary spaces into something extraordinary. Throughout the week, students will explore color theory, pattern, and composition while sketching and painting sections of a collaborative mural. They’ll practice teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity as they see how their individual artwork fits into a larger masterpiece. Along the way, we’ll look at famous murals from around the world and talk about the stories they tell—from city streets to school walls.
