Bennett Joins the Alliance for Early Childhood (AEC)

We are excited to share that Bennett Day School has officially joined the Alliance for Early Childhood (AEC). The AEC is an Early Childhood Network of schools that offers an array of professional development opportunities, parent workshops, and Reggio-inspired community play events for families. 

According to their website, the AEC’s mission is as follows: “The Alliance for Early Childhood is a collaborative, community organization that supports and guides families and educators to nurture the healthy, well-rounded development of children from birth to eight years old.”

Partnering with the AEC is a great opportunity for our Early Childhood program as it provides our educators with expanding networking opportunities, professional development, as well as relative parent workshops and topics for our early childhood families. Additionally, the AEC offers monthly family play opportunities through Let’s Play!

Let’s Play! is The AEC’s ongoing community program for families. They invite parents and caregivers to engage and interact with their children in child-directed, creative, free play through a variety of programs that are free and open to the public during the school year.
