Time to Plan for Summer Camp!

It’s never too early to think about summer vacation. (Especially during a cold Chicago winter!) This year, we’re especially excited for the warm weather months, so we can launch the first ever Bennett Day Camp. With the help of our own teachers and families, as well as our partners within the progressive education community, we have put together a unique summer experience open to any and all school-aged children.

Little campers, ages three to five, will get a variety of summertime experiences through the Explorers program. This half-day option includes field trips, Water Wednesdays and other engaging activities. Additionally, MorningCare and aftercare options will be available, complete with a hot lunch and naptime.

First- through fourth-grade campers can take advantage of the full-day Adventurer program, enjoying outdoor activities, field trips and swimming. In addition to group play, children can enhance their summer experience with Bennett & Beyond Camp theme weeks. These add-on programs include:

  • 3Point Athletics Sports Camp – Children in all skill levels will come together for friendly games like kickball and capture the flag for team-building fun.
  • Culinary Arts Camp – Trips to local farmers markets and lessons on composting are just a few of the activities campers will enjoy in the culinary arts program.
  • Inspire Girls Academy: “Designing Toys of the Future” – This program provides girls with a complete product development experience — from inception and design to marketing and sales.
  • Inspire Girls Academy + Design Dance – A perfect mix of business and arts, girls will learn what it takes to choreograph their own performance, obtain funding and market their creation to the public.
  • STEAMtastic Camp – Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math come together for a hands-on approach to robotics and coding.

Bennett Day ETC (Explore the City) is a fantastic opportunity for incoming 6th through 8th graders to spend a week getting to know Chicago. Perfect for city natives and suburban campers, children will discover a new neighborhood each day of this week-long program.

Summer camp enrollment is already open, so be sure to secure your spot today.
