Event: How to Raise Kids in a Digital World, with Author Devorah Heitner
When it comes to kids burying their face in technology, what is the proper response for parents? Screentime is an ongoing dilemma in a world in which kids are increasingly distracted and addicted to technology. Bennett Day School has partnered with Deverah Heitner, Ph.D and author of Screenwise: Helping Kids Thrive (and Survive) in their Digital World, to host an event on March 22. The event will provide guidance on how parents can reduce their child’s dependence on technology and raise their kids in a rapidly changing world.
The event is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 22 at Bennett Day School, 955 W. Grand Avenue, Chicago IL, 60642. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.
Devorah Heitner is a media expert who believes that technology offers huge potential to children, as long as the parents help.
