Tikia Kidd

Tikia is ecstatic about the privilege of working and growing with the First Grade team at Bennett Day School. She is a dedicated educator with many years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a BA in Early Childhood Education from Governors State University. She enjoys teaching diverse learners and is passionate about hands-on learning opportunities and establishing genuine connections with students and families. Beyond her career, Tikia volunteers for Albinism awareness, advocating for her son and educating all who are not familiar with the condition. Tikia is a faculty member at Bennett Day School and a parent of two children: a daughter in Bennett’s Upper School and a son in high school who attends a different school. Her interests include spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, roller skating, and exploring new cultures.
