Susan Wingerter

Susan is very excited to be entering her fifth school year at Bennett Day! She began her journey into Reggio Emilia-inspired education with Bennett’s Early Childhood program and had continued on assisting teachers for the Lower School in grades 1st through 3rd. Her previous seventeen years of experience in creative instruction include numerous summer and arts camps for local independent schools and as a member of many children’s theatre companies in and around the Chicagoland area. Originally from Atlanta, GA, she relocated to Chicago to attend Roosevelt University for a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. Currently, she is enrolled in National Louis University’s Elementary Education degree program for grades K-6.
