Stephanie Kwiatt

With a profound love for the Reggio Emilia approach, Stephanie is excited to be joining the Bennett team this year. After graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in World Literature and the Teaching of ESL, Stephanie got her start in early childhood education while in Americorps, serving for a year in a Head Start classroom. Following a few years in nonprofit administration and as an au pair in France, she missed the curious, joyful, thought-provoking environment of preschool and went back to earn her Associate Teacher credential in ECE. Stephanie has spent the past two years working at a French-immersion preschool in Los Angeles, where she enjoyed the challenge of bilingual education and the opportunity to grow her French fluency. When not at school, Stephanie can be found fiddling with all sorts of thrifting, sewing, and writing projects, and she looks forward to sharing her passion for creative expression with her students.
