Stephanie joined Bennett Day School in 2018. Initially, she was tasked with crafting the admissions process for the Upper School and recruiting Bennett’s inaugural 9th-grade class, She now oversees admissions for grades 5-12, re-enrollment, and financial aid. Her passion for her work and deep appreciation for the vibrant community of students, educators, and families are evident in every aspect of her role.

Stephanie studied History and Political Science at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, which is also where she is from. She then spent two years teaching English in San Luis Potosi, Mexico where she developed her love of education and achieved her goal of becoming fluent in Spanish. After returning to the U.S., Stephanie earned a Master of Arts in Teaching at Marian University in Indianapolis. 

Upon completing her post-graduate work, Stephanie taught in both public and private schools in Indianapolis. She was mainly a 5th-grade teacher, but also spent some time teaching Middle School. In 2013, when she and her husband moved to Chicago, she decided to take a step out of the classroom and accepted the position of Director of Admissions at Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart in Wicker Park.

In her spare time, Stephanie loves to cook, travel, read, run, and watch sports.
