Mindy Morse

Mindy has a passion for keeping up with the most relevant teaching practices, with a special focus on cross-curriculum integration of literacy, math, and science. She is excited to further develop project-based learning alongside students and collaborate on a school-wide basis. Mindy believes in the importance of a strong phonics foundation, whole group phonemic awareness through movement, and the use of decodable texts to facilitate the joy of reading in each student. She strives to provide all students with relevant grade-level experiences while meeting the differentiated needs of each student through exploration and tactile learning. Mindy is also dedicated to providing space for students to develop social-emotional and executive function skills that will serve them as members of any community. Outside the classroom setting Mindy finds passion in movement, music, and knitting.
