Lupita Gonzalez

Lupita is very excited to be joining Bennett Day this year! Lupita has a B.A. in English from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and is a proud alumna of Josephinum Academy, an all-girls high school in Wicker Park. While her early career started in the communications field for local nonprofits, Lupita’s interest in teaching began when she served as a Title IX Advocacy Coordinator, educating high school and college students about their rights under Title IX. From there, Lupita taught at an early childhood center in Logan Square and served as a 4th-grade Teacher Assistant and Student Success Coach for Chicago Public Schools. Lupita is thrilled to be a part of Bennett’s community and to lead with integrity, curiosity, and collaboration with students, parents, and teachers.
