Bailey Myrin
(she/her)
Bambini Teacher
Early Childhood
Bailey began her career in Early Childhood Education at Alexandria Technical and Community College, where she concurrently earned her high school diploma and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education by the age of 18. During her time in Minnesota, she gained valuable experience teaching at Butterfly Hill Nature Preschool, an outdoor, play-based program that inspired her deep appreciation for child-led, experiential learning. Following her graduation, Bailey moved to Chicago to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in English Literature. She is enthusiastic about bringing her interdisciplinary background into the classroom and is particularly passionate about integrating literature and a love of learning into her teaching practice. Bailey is pleased to continue her work at Bennett Day School in the Bambini & Me program, building on her prior experience in the PreKindergarten classroom under the mentorship of Molly Simmons, Director of Early Childhood Education. Outside of the classroom, Bailey enjoys exploring the city on foot, biking along the lakefront trail, and spending time with her young daughter, Estelle.
