Andrea brings over a decade of experience working with children. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language-Hearing: Sciences and Disorders from the University of Kansas and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Early Intervention in Deaf Education at Fontbonne University. Andrea has primarily worked with early childhood students and is dedicated to creating inclusive, nurturing classroom environments where every child feels safe, loved, and welcomed. She places a strong emphasis on helping students build their social-emotional skills and develop confidence in themselves and their abilities. Now entering her fourth year at Bennett, Andrea is excited to continue partnering with students and their families for another meaningful school year. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Andrea relocated to Chicago in 2021. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Oliver, volunteering in the community, cooking, and exploring the city’s restaurant scene.
