Have you ever felt alone as a parent?
Do you want time to reflect on parenting but busy schedules make it tricky to actually do it?
Do you crave a stronger sense of community with other Bennett families?
We invite you to join us at Bennett Day School on Thursday, January 30th, 2025, 6:30-7:45 PM for a unique opportunity to deepen connections within our parent and caregiver community.
Guided by Brighid O’Shaughnessy, LSW, of Return to the Roots, this interactive event will foster open conversation and shared learning in an inclusive, non-hierarchical space. Together, we’ll reflect on the parenting journey – lessons learned, joyful moments, and the challenges and opportunities of each stage.
We will use a talking circle format, an indigenous practice that helps to encourage connection and take us beyond the surface to deeper conversations with one another. This approach can also be a wonderful practice to do at home with your kids to move beyond those one-word answers parents sometimes receive.
