Meredith is passionate about teaching language with comprehensible input techniques and exploring the Spanish-speaking world with her students. She studied Secondary Teaching with a concentration in Spanish at Northwestern University. Afterward, she received a Fulbright scholarship to teach English in Guadalajara, Mexico, from 2019 to 2020 at Universidad Tecnológica de Jalisco. She returned home in 2020 and taught 7th and 8th grade Spanish classes at Carleton Washburne Middle School from 2020 until 2023. There, she was also an advisor and debate coach. Additionally, she sponsored various clubs, including Gay-Straight Alliance and Dance Marathon. Most recently, Meredith pursued a Masters in Teacher Leadership at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education. At Harvard, she coached novice teachers and concentrated in IPJE (Identity, Power, and Justice in Education). Meredith is excited to join the Bennett community and dive into the Spanish language using project-based learning.
