Ben Kirk

Ben is excited for his 2nd year with the Bennett Day community. Originally from the East Coast, Ben earned his Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Salem State University. He began his teaching career in Salem, Massachusetts, where he taught a range of subjects, including darkroom photography, ceramics and sculpture, drawing, painting, and mixed media.

With a passion for creative collaboration, Ben loves connecting with students and teachers across disciplines through the visual arts. His classroom is a dynamic space where art history and traditional techniques meet contemporary aesthetics and ideas.

Outside the classroom, Ben enjoys spending time with his family and dog, watching scary movies, and making pizza.
