Bailey Myrin
she/her
Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher
Early Childhood
Bailey began her work in Early Childhood studying at Alexandria Technical and Community College, where she graduated with both her high school diploma and an Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education at 18. While studying in Minnesota, she was grateful to have the opportunity to teach at Butterfly Hill Nature Preschool, an outdoor, play-based preschool. Her time in Minnesota led her to a love of play-based, child-led education. Upon graduation, she moved to Chicago, where she studied Political Science, earning her Bachelor of Arts with a minor in English Literature. Bailey is eager to integrate her background in English Literature into her teaching and share her love of literature and learning with the students at Bennett Day. She is excited to get back into teaching at Bennett following years of individual caregiving and teaching throughout Chicago and the suburbs. In her free time, Bailey loves to explore Chicago on foot and bike along the lakefront trail.
