Janessa Juarez

Janessa is thrilled to embark on another year with Bennett Day School’s Enrollment Team. Janessa graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism but ultimately decided to pursue her passion for equitable education by joining Teach For America in New York City. She taught pre-kindergarten at a public school in the Bronx and then returned to the Midwest in 2010. She taught at various elementary schools in Chicago (both public and private) before finding and falling in love with Bennett Day School.

Outside of her professional life, Janessa is a proud parent of twin girls in 2nd grade at Bennett Day School, further deepening her connection to the community she serves. She’s an avid runner and coaches Girls on the Run.
