Claire is very excited to join the Bennett Day team this year! Claire earned her B.A. in Psychology from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN in 2015 and her M.A. in teaching with a focus in Special Education from National Louis University in 2020. Prior to Bennett Day, Claire worked as a Diverse Learners teacher at a charter school on the southwest side of Chicago, supporting students in grades K-8 and in a therapeutic day school setting before that.
When working with students, Claire focuses on building strong connections with students and collaborating with families to best meet the needs of each student she works with. Claire is excited to work at Bennett as someone who is passionate about ensuring all students can access learning in a way that works best for them. In her free time, Claire enjoys exploring the city and trying new restaurants, hanging out with her dog, and going to concerts with friends.
