Amanda Konkol

Amanda is thrilled to enter her third school year teaching and growing alongside Bennett’s Second Grade team. Informed by her professional background in K-12 museum education, Amanda embraces a multidisciplinary approach aligned with Bennett’s Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum. In joining Bennett in 2020, Amanda discovered her passion for working within the classroom environment. Amanda is committed to supporting student growth by fostering an enthusiastic and compassionate community. She finds great joy in encouraging creative problem solving, collaboration, and curiosity across all subjects. Amanda holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She also serves as an Associate Board Member for Teacher Supporting Teachers, a nonprofit which provides mentorship opportunities to Chicago educators.
