Jensen Briggeman Headshot 2025 WP

Jensen Briggeman is a teaching artist and educator with experience in K–8 instruction, dance, and arts integration. Before Bennett, she led after-school dance programs with Music House School of Performing Arts in Chicago, where she designed and led engaging, movement-based classes that centered creativity, collaboration, and confidence in students. It was through this programming that she stumbled upon Bennett Day and was immediately impressed with the learning environment and community fostered.

Inspired by nature, innovation, technology, and diverse art forms, Jensen is always seeking new breakthroughs in education. She is passionate about making knowledge accessible and digestible for all learners, using creative approaches to connect concepts to real-world experiences.

Jensen earned her B.S. in Middle Grades Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a focus on curriculum design and project-based learning models. She has worked as a middle school teacher, lead teaching artist, and arts instructor, and is committed to creating inclusive learning environments that inspire students to explore their individuality and develop new skills.

Outside the classroom, Jensen enjoys quality time with friends and loved ones, painting, listening to music, spending time in her garden, and contributing to community arts initiatives. She believes that arts education is a powerful tool for building empathy, self-expression, and lifelong learning.
