Ariana de Losada
(she/her)
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Early Childhood
Ariana was born in Lima, Peru, and moved to Chicago as a child. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Information Science from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and went on to intern at several nonprofits focused on creating well-rounded learning spaces for children. Her passion for education was sparked while teaching computer literacy in Ecuador. Since then, she has taught English as a foreign language to children around the world, eventually working in an early childhood classroom in South Korea, where she fell in love with early childhood education. After returning to Chicago, Ariana began working in Montessori schools, where she developed a strong appreciation for progressive education and its emphasis on research-based practices. Ariana’s passion for nurturing creative, student-centered learning environments led her to Bennett Day. She looks forward to starting her first year here!
