Together\, we’ll reflect on the parenting journey – lessons learned\, joyful moments\, and the challenges and opportunities of each stage. \nWe will use a talking circle format\, an indigenous practice that helps to encourage connection and take us beyond the surface to deeper conversations with one another. DESCRIPTION:Eco Fair: All your questions\, answered! \nWhat is the purpose of the Eco Fair? \n\nTo teach kids of all ages how we can help our environment through recycling and repurposing materials.\n\nWho is it for? \n\nBennett students (and siblings) of all ages\, and their grownups.\n\nWhat will we do at the Eco Fair? \n\nActivities include making “trash to treasure” journals\, writing letters to children in the hospital\, putting together STEM kits out of old LEGOS\, and zero waste gift wrapping. And don’t forget to bring your grocery list… we will have a local farmer selling his produce! \n\nWill there be an afterschool snack? \n\nYes\, snacks and pizza will be provided.\n\nWhat can I donate to support Eco Fair (whether or not I can attend)? \n\nIn support of our Eco Fair activities\, we are asking for the following donations Nov. 4-8 (donation bins located in Parking Garage\, or during morning dropoff):\n\nCraft Supplies: blank paper (with or without lines)\, rubber bands\, markers/pencils/crayons\, cardstock or cardboard (for use in the journals)\nDiapers and Pull Ups (to donate to Share Our Spare)\nLego and Duplo Bricks\n\n\n\nWhen & where is Eco Fair? \n\nFriday\, November 8\, 3:15-5:00pm\, downstairs in the old gym and MS Cafeteria.\n\nCan I volunteer to help? \n\nYes!
