How do I schedule an appointment to get my COVID test?
You do not need to make an appointment. This testing site is walk-ups only.

Is this a drive-thru testing site or should I walk up?
This is a walk-up testing site. If you drive, please park nearby and then walk to the testing site.

Do I need to bring anything with me when I get my test?
Masks are required but no insurance or ID is needed. You will fill out a short form with your contact information so the State can call you to give you the results.

How soon will I receive my results?
The State of Illinois says you can expect to get your results back within 4-7 days via phone call.

Does the State offer rapid testing?
No. The State of Illinois says you can expect to get your results back within 4-7 days via phone call.

What kind of COVID test is it?
The test is a ‘simple’ nasal swab — only a few centimeters into the nose as opposed to predecessor PCR deep nasal swab tests. The results from this molecular RNA test, which the State tells us is 98% accurate and is administered by HRSupport, are then processed locally nearby at Tempus Lab at 600 West Chicago.

Do I need insurance to get a COVID test?
No, testing is free and you do not need insurance.

Where is the testing site located?
The testing is located outdoors in our parking area (behind the playground). You can enter the line from Grand Ave.
Bennett Day School is located at 955 W. Grand Ave in Chicago.
