Bennett Day Nominated for Chicago Innovation Awards

September 24, 2015

Bennett Day School has been nominated for the 2015 Chicago Innovation Awards. Bennett Day is the only independent school nominated from downtown Chicago.

“We are humbled, and proud, to be recognized as a nominee for the Chicago Innovation Awards”, said CEO and Co-Founder Cameron Smith, who also is a Bennett Day School parent. “Chicago is growing quickly as a collaborative hub of innovation. In the same way, Bennett Day is a school dedicated to creativity and innovation for Chicago families — a school where students and teachers co-construct their learning together.”

Established in 2002, the Chicago Innovation Awards shine a bright light on the creative spirit of Chicago by focusing attention on the most significant new products and services introduced in the region. Winners each year are innovations that uniquely fill unmet needs, spark a competitive response in the marketplace, exceed market expectations, achieve financial success, and improve people’s lives. They emerge from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Most importantly, the Chicago Innovation Awards remind us that innovation is thriving in America’s heartland.
